Last week, we composed 2 paragraphs illustrative paragraph and persuasive paragraph. I reviewed Nita's paragraphs. The first was illustrative paragraph. She wrote it good enough. It gave specific examples that show the point. It illustrated the point enough.  I also reviewed her persuasive paragraph which about how important to learn english.  Each paragraph persuaded the reader so as to learn english. It was right idea. I thought her paragraphs were good enough. But she must be careful used the hypen and also the specific grammatical. I think not only Nita but also you and I have to learn more and practice more about english grammar. 

On this semester We had made wide range of paragraphs. We also reviewed our friends paragraphs. Exactly, we have known the characteristics of each type of paragraphs. we also have already known our mistakes by reviewing paragraphs. The common mistake was grammar.

This reflection is interesting to investigate in the context of English studies.

Argumentative paragraph

Last week, on Wednesday,October 24,2012. We had workshop. We reviewed about argumentative paragpraph. I reviewed Dini's paragraph. She wrote about "Smoking in public place". It told about her arguments about smoking in public place and also the effects of smoking. It gave good reasons and supporting evidence to defend the position. It also considerd the opposing views also the examples. She wrote her arguments from start to finish and also gave the conclusion of the whole paragraph of the topic. I found some mistakes from the grammatical and the spelling. For instance, She wrote "Public places". She wrote place on its context using "es" as a plural. I thought that it didn't need "es" as plural because public place is general. But she had a good idea of the paragraph which she made. 

The conclusion is we have to be careful on the grammatical of each paragraph andbe corrected.

Welcome to my shared blog which many reflections and story about me and my lecture. Don't be bored to read and give comment on my blog. Lasr meeting there wasn't a presentation. We only had some workshops.On  Wednesday I wrote a process paragraph. I wrote about how to make a hard-cooked egg. I have some mistakes on my paragraph. Especially the punctuation. For example, I should gave a space after the fullstop. Then, I identified Ima's paragraph.She wrote about hair veiked treatment. It was very interesting Paragraph and good idea.But , she should be carefull for the grammatical.

  For the following workshop on Friday, we reviewed about definition paragraph.I wrote about definition of Dejavu. The reviewer said that I had some mistakes in grammar. So, I had to be carefull for the grammatical. I identified Zaki's paragraph. She wrote about the definition of friendship. It was good idea but she also to be carefull for the grammatical of each sentences.

  Day by day I identify my friend's paragraph in different tittle and word. But it makes me understand deeply about paragraph and also it increases my knowledge from the article which my firends made.

Feel cozy..... yeahh ^_-

  I'm sorry for being late to post the reflection for last meeting. Last meeting there was workshop about cause and effect paragraph. I reviewed Riza's paragraph. On her paragraph I found mistake on writing of each word for example "write" she wrote just " wite" she didn't correct her writing. But, she had a good enough ide of paragraph cause and effect. 

  For the day of presentation. Unfortunately, I was absent on   last Wednesday. So, I didn't know exactly what and how the presenters presented their paragraph.

  

 That's my reflection. I feel cozy with this class. Not only enjoy but also I get understanding of the material.

What a terrible day

 On 27th September, We had a presentation like usually. The presenter were Aci,Aris,Rois, and Ima. Aci presented about Pollution which was a definition paragraph. Aris, His paragraph like an essay, because there was a space after the first paragraph. But, Actually He make one paragraph but in 2 form of paragraph. So, he gave space on them. He decided that his paragraph was an argumantative paragraph. When Miss Vita asked which one the topic and topic sentences. He didn't answer well. He looked confused about the differences between topic and also topic sentence. He looked so nervous when Miss Vita asked continuely. I didn't know what happened with Aris. Because we've learned about topic and topic sentence in the previous semester I thought. The condition of class was tranquil. Miss Vita was angry to us. She looked so upset to us. But, It was just a moment. She told all what she felt. We apologized to her. And continued the next presenter.

That's all my reflection. May be we have to do and we have to be the best and learn more about the previous lesson.Because we have made upset our beloved lecturer. We are really sorry Miss Vita -_-

Understanding deeply,,aha ^_^

     Last meeting we still did which similar with the pervious meeting. We corrected assignment which was paragraph. We also analyzed paragraph each other by listening songs which made us felt enjoy..yeaahh :D. We continued for the presenter who presented the next paragraphs. There were 6 presenter they were Riza,Via,Dini,Mega,Aini, and Mega. Riza presented about contrast paragraph. The text was contrast paragraph.  She explained that contrast paragraph tells about the differences between two objects, while the comparison paragraph about their similarities. Fia   presented about argumentative paragraph, according to her it was an argumentative paragraph, because it tells about the author's opinion about literature. According to me it was explanation.  Because Miss.Vita said that " an argumentative paragraph the author should be determine a clear motion, it means that the author have to tell whether she/ he agree or disagree with the issue". But Fia was still stayed on her opinion,But finally with a long disscussion She agreed that her paragrapf was expalanation. hehe what a pity fia : D. Aini  presented about a cause and effect paragraph but it was not really good paragraph, because there  was no a concluding sentence.  

  I really surpised with one of the presenters. She was Mega. She only presented and explained her paragraph and went bact to her sit. Because her paragraph was clear that was definition  paragraph. Her  paragraph was good. So no body comment her paragraph. All of the students just said "YES" when Miss Vita asked  we agreed or not with her opinion aboyt her paragraph. hasssshhhh:D. 

  The disscussion last meeting was really made my understanding deeply about paragraph. Becaused we already discussed them approxmately 3 weeks. But I like this way for studying or learning about writting. Good job guys. Nd thanks for Miss Vita :* :D

Confusing day ^_^

 Yesterday was confusing day for me. espessially in writting class. We discussed about text paragraphs which were presented by friends.when one of our friends presented the text. We was confused what kind of paragraph is. Between description or illustration.The text was presented by Nita. Nita decided her text was description. But, some of friends said her text was illustration. Because in the text just told the illustration. But, like description sentences. But, if we looked at back on the characteristics. The text was illustration. Because the text just illustrated not commanded the readers to imagine or feeling about the topic. Finally, with long discussion and  carefull thinking. We decided that the paragraph was illustration..  haakkzz it was confusing day and need to  think hardly,,, hehehe

Perhaps the conclusion is we have to read back or look at back on the characteristics and also the purpose of each paragraphs. ^_^

New things make an amazing thing ^_^

 When I got paragraph materials in writting class. I thought the materials are same with the materials which I've got When I was in Senior High School. I just remembered at least narrative,recount,descriptive,and persuasive. But I got more kinds of paragraph in this writting class. I also got new paragraphs. They were comparison and contrast,cause and effect,illustration,classification, and argumentative. For the first time, I was confused to differenciated each paragraphs. But I tried to read and understood each paragraphs. I also asked to my friends and also to my beloved lecturer Miss Vita :). I got understanding from the class disscusion in wrtting class.

   Actually I get difficulty to decide what kind of the paragraph is When I read a paragraph. But I look back to the characteristics of each paragraphs.

What Paragraph is

Reflection of Paragraph

Paragraph is group of sentences that presents one main idea about the topic. A paragraph gives one main idea and all the examples or the smaller ideas that explain it. The theme of a paragraph is given in the topic sentence. The topic tells what our idea is. Paragraph also has many types. There seven types of paragraph. There ae narration,exposition,definition,description,comparison,process analysis, and persuasion. Paragraph can stand alone or function or part of an essay, but each paragraph covers only one main idea. An essay explain it, a story narrates it. To help the reader understand and enjoy the story or narration. In an essay, each paragraph explains or demonstrates a key point or the central idea, ussually to inform or persuade. Each paragraph serves to develop a character,describe a scene or narrate an action, and to entertain the reader. All paragraph support each other , leading the reader from the first idea to the final resolution.
 
A good paragraph has the supporting sentences after the topic sentence help to develope the main idea. These sentences gives specific details related to the topic sentence. A paragraph begins with the topic sentence which is the main idea. A final or concluding sentence often restates or summarizes the main idea of the topic sentence. And a good topic sentence informs the readers of the subject that will be disscussed in the paragraph,asserts the writter's point of view or attitude,and creates a sense of action.
 That's all reflection of paragraph from me.

The actually many my difficulties in writting. Individuals with written language disorders may have difficulty with one or more aspects of written language such as proper use of grammar and syntax, punctuation, spelling, organizational skills, and initiating writing. I hope after reading and reflecting my reflection about these. I'm better in in writting. Help each other! ^_^
